One guy came into the restaurant, and within seconds of sitting down, demanded to know why we hadn't brought him water.

I've had Asian customers whistle at me to get my attention, demand special orders, and other generally asshole-ish behavior. Others have tried to order in their native language, even after I've made it clear that I do not speak or understand any language other than English and French (I grew up in the states), and became frustrated that I cannot take their order in a foreign language. Another family complained that there were no pictures on our English menu (We chose not to have pictures because they are tacky and tasteless). I had a family demand to speak to my supervisor, because our menu was in English (We are in a predominantly American small town). The majority of Asian customers, especially those that are new to the country, have been rude, demanding, and pretentious, as well as terrible tippers. Which brings me to another point: Oh, yeah, I fucking hate Christians too.ДЄnyway, back to being racist. Both times, they've accused me of 'wasting their hard-earned money.' They refused to allow me to be treated for my mental conditions, telling concerned counselors that I 'wasn't depressed, just a little sad.' They also preferred to take matters into their own hands, by praying for me. I couldn't finish school because of the severe anxiety and depression that had been building up, which my -devoutly Christian- parents (both with masters in medicine) blew off for years as an 'overreaction' and a 'cry for attention.' I've been sent to the ER twice after suicide attempts. Because I never managed to graduate high school, despite a GPA of 4.0 when I dropped out, and an SAT of 2270.

I should also mention that I am currently a shame to my family, because the only job I could land was a position as a waitress in some nondescript small town. I've been beaten, degraded, and abused all my life. I began studying for the SAT in fourth grade, and the GRE in sixth. I was born to a very traditionally Chinese family, complete with all the stereotypes.
